The return of… The X Factor.
by The Sean Maloney Show
It’s that time of year again, when the drama and suspense has been built for long enough.
It’s the return of… The X Factor.
Just when you thought we had seen it all and it couldn’t shock us anymore, the new series burst onto our screens with an explosive episode showing tears, laughter, joy and drama! The girl everyone was talking about was Zoe Alexander (The Pink Tribute Act) – could she really be that delirious? Is she out of her mind? She burst onto the stage declaring her love for music and how she wanted her own identity, but appeared to look identical to her idol and day time job, “Pink”. She then made her audition worse by singing a Pink song. Instantly we could see the judges were not impressed giving her four “No’s”. Then it happened, the insane girl took a turn for the worse like a deadly hurricane sweeping through the stage attacking anyone in sight, screaming and crying. The pain of being told your not good enough is more than some people can take. The new series also see’s the return of “The New Generation” judges, Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and newcomer, Nicole Scherzinger. Also to add extra spice to this dramatic new series there is also a number of guest celebrity judges, with the first episode kicking off with controversial former spice girl Mel B. Mel B held no prisoners speaking exactly what everyone else was thinking, hitting the headlines the next day being told she was “too nasty” – I personally believe she should be given a permanent seat on the ever hanging judging panel!
Back with a bang and more dramatic than ever, I was instantly hooked to talent show story firing up to be bigger and better than ever. The show closed on a young hopeful – “Ella Henderson” who wrote and performed her own song, inspired by the recent death of her grandfather, she didn’t hold back. A beautiful and calming voice filled the X Factor stadium sweeping the judges off their feet. The song was carefully wrote and beautifully sang by the young X Factor hopeful.
Speaking of X Factor, within 2 days the X Factor winners “Little Mix” and third place X Factor finalist “Amelia Lily” will both release their debut singles, this Sunday! Exciting I know! Little Mix released their first number one single “cannonball” claiming the Christmas Number 1 position and becoming the fastest selling single of the year, will this be second time lucky? With Little Mix co-writing their debut single “wings” and having a foot stomping, feet tapping rhythm that just can’t be denied, I have an exciting feeling about this single but most of all what else do the girls have in store for their ever growing fan base! However they will have to put up one hell of a fight with Amelia Lily releasing her debut single ” You Bring Me Joy” this Sunday also. Who are you backing? Let the fight for number one… Begin!
