Last night saw the highly anticipated return of 85th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood and hosted by first timer Seth Macfarlane, the stars hit the red carpet drenched in Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Alexander McQueen and many more.
But who wore it best?
Amanda Seyfried went for instant high impact hitting the red carpet with Alexander McQueen and I can safely say it paid off. Interesting necklines and embellishment gave her gown the necessary impact on the red-carpet that others lacked. Flaw length yet figure hugging, Amanda almost floated down the red carpet effortlessly looking chic. 8/10
Dior beauty Charlize Theron stormed the red carpet looking demure in a white Dior Couture number whilst also sporting a shocking new pixie crop which, she described as a “freeing experience” help to give her the shock element. Head to toe looking demure as she wowed onlookers in stunning white peplum It was clear shaving her hair had not affected Charlize’s confidence. 9/10

Woman of the night, Best Actress winner for Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence hit the red carpet resulting in a second triumph in the style stakes in her strapless Dior Haute Couture gown. Eye catching and looking perfection with a simple yet stylish gown, Miss Lawrence wowed on lookers as she posed for photographers with what many people will agree the dress of the night. 10/10
Winning Best Supporting Actress was an emotional triumph for Anne Hathaway and with a second victory on the red carpet, in a pale pink Prada number, Anne effortlessly beamed down the red carpet in this safe nude garment letting her competition know she is a fierce competitor in the style steaks. 7/10
After an emotional night and unexpectedly taking home an Oscar for her vocals on the box office smash Skyfall, Adele played it safe in the style steaks with a glitzy stylish flaw length gown from British designer Jenny Packham. Looking eye catching and glamorous as always Adele strutted down the red carpet beaming with joy. 7/10
